About Us
Birmingham's longest running alternative/student nightclub.
Birmingham's alternative/student scene has held Snobs in the highest regard for a number of years. After the demise of the Hummingbird, Snobs was soon to become home of the alternative scene by launching Melt and Loaded on alternate Saturdays. Soon to follow was one of the city's most popular midweek events - Big Wednesday. There have been plenty of other nights through the years, including UFO, Collision, Freak Scene, Cult Club, Click Club, Slushpuppy and Life is Easy to name a few.
It boasts two rooms of different music genres, commonly referred to as the big room and the little room.
Relax...
The retro feel includes loads of nooks and crannies, plenty of sofas to chill out on and four bars from which you can easily grab your Carlsberg or Vodka & Coke.
The recently refitted toilets now provide additional facilities for the ladies, and bright new facilities for the gents.
Chav Free...
Probably the best door policy in Birmingham; strictly no chavs! We like our punters to have a good time so we've banned the burberry wearing trouble makers you find at other clubs. We don't want the "chav" crowd ruining the nights at Snobs, just the happy, friendly good time people to come along and have the best time they can... So if you're the type to wear football tops, caps, Rockport, Burberry, or Hackett you probably won't get in!
If you're friendly, have fun and don't act like an idiot, the doormen are friendly, and are there to see you're safe and smiling, and if you act like an idiot they'll get you out the club ASAP so you don't ruin the nights of other people. Stick on yer trainers, jeans, a phat top and your laughing. You might want to leave your trousers, ties and Jackets at home...
At these prices it's lunacy...
The bars are cheaper than the pubs!!! Drinking at Snobs won't burn a hole in your pocket - cheap draught & bottles, shots are from £1, and selected bottles are discounted even more on select nights. See the Events section, or flyers for details on nights at Snobs.
